◤FIFA World Cup in Qatar◢ French outlet L

French media outlet L'Equipe complained on Tuesday that the third goal which Leo Messi scored for La Albiceleste in the second-half of the extra time during the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup final against France shouldn't be validated because two Argentina substitute players rushed onto the pitch and had breached the in the rules first place.

According to report, L'Equipe used the headline "Why Argentina's third goal should be disallowed" as an example to complain that the VAR assistant referee and Polish match referee Syzmon Marchiniak had only paid attention to whether Lautaro Martínez, Enzo Fernández or even Messi himself had been offside in the first place, but ignored that two substitute players from the Argentina national team had broken onto the pitch and had clearly breached the rules first, hence proving that this goal which Messi has scored has already been scripted.

In fact, what L'Equipe is referring to does make sense. According to the Law 3 of Paragraph 9 published by FIFA, before or after anyone on the pitch scored, whether celebrating too excitedly or trying to change the match outcome, as long as there were anyone who entered the pitch without permission, including substitute players, head coach, assistant coaches or technical staff, the referee must rule that the goal invalid and continue the game with the opposing goalkeeper receiving a free kick.

However, the facts show that Marchiniak, the linesman, the VAR assistant referee and other members of the referee team on duty obviously did not fulfill the importance of complying with this regulation. It is no wonder that L'Equipe and many France supporters think that the goal which Messi has scored is scripted.

Since the release of this report, there have been two factions of supporters who had been having heated arguments on the Internet. Supporters of France, Real Madrid fans, Manchester United fans, and die hard fans of legendary Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo certainly agree with L'Equipe's point of view, that they think Argentina and even Messi himself have too many suspicions of having decisions gone into their favour during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Of course, the group of supporters headed by Messi's die-hard fans, Argentina supporters, Barcelona fans and Paris Saint-Germain fans overwhelmingly believe that there is something wrong with L'Equipe's "conspiracy theory", and that they all agree that Real Madrid fans, Manchester United fans, Ronaldo die-fans and France supporters thought that these people were only complaining due to their bitterness and saltiness.
