Atlético Madrid announced on their official website on Sunday that Mozambique international left-back Reinildo Mandava has undergone surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, also confirming that the player will be out for the season.

According to Atlético Madrid's official statement, Reinildo successfully underwent surgery at the CEMTRO Clinic Hospital on Sunday. Along with the club's medical staff, Dr Pedro Guillén, Dr Isabel Guillén, Dr Marta Guillén and Dr Fernando Sanz were there at the surgery.
