Benevento wants to make Juventus difficult again
2021-03-28 08:14TURIN - Coach BeneventoFilippo Inzaghy believes that his team can reap points when they visit Juventus at the Allianz Stadium, Turin, on the 28th giornata of Serie A, Sunday (21/3) at 21.00 WIB. The former AC Milan and Juventus striker referred to his team's ability to hold the defending champion Serie Aters' draw 1-1 in the first meeting.
One of the Serie A promotion clubs this season proved to be difficult for the Bianconeri at the end of November. Coming from behind first through Alvaro Morata's goal in the 21st minute, Benevento was able to equalize via Gaetano Letizia's goal in the 45th minute.
Benevento finally managed to secure one point in that match. It was this experience that Benevento was trying to repeat during a visit to the Old Lady's headquarters.
"I want us to appear with the right character. At the first meeting, we managed to reap the points after holding their draw. We will try to repeat that achievement in Turin. There is no reason for us not to dream in that match," said Inzaghi like reported by the Italian Football , Sunday.
Even so, Benevento stared at this match with a record of less convincing performances. The team nicknamed the Gli Stregoni has never won in the last 11 matches on the Serie A stage with six defeats. Even in the last match, Benevento was smothered by Fiorentina 1-4, last weekend.
Even so, Inzaghi said the club management's decision to hold a training camp this week was the right step. At present, Benevento's players are much fresher and have confidence after suffering disappointing results in the last few matches. The results of this training camp, said Inzaghi, will try to show Benevento in the match against Juventus.
"We want to get back to the winning track and show what this team can do. We know we have to prove these words. In the end, we had made it difficult for them in previous meetings," said Inzaghi.
