Ecuador World Cup 26-man roster released: Brighton 3 players selected, while Byron Castillo missed


Following Ghana, Tunisia and Mexico, Ecuador announced the final 26-man roster for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the last of the 32 teams to submit the World Cup roster.


Brighton players Estupinian, Sarmiento and Caicedo are listed, Joao Rojas is out due to injury, and Byron Castillo, who is suspected of forging a birth certificate, is also excluded.


Ecuador's future fixtures

At this World Cup, Ecuador is in Group A with Qatar, Senegal and the Netherlands. According to the schedule, they will play against the host Qatar on November 20 to kick off the 2022 World Cup; the two group matches with the Netherlands and Senegal will be played in sequence within 8 days.
