Ibrahimovic says Mbappe is a good player, but a player should not be bigger than the club

Ibrahimovic recently talked about Mbappe's contract renewal with Paris this summer in an interview.

Ibrahimovic said Mbappe made the right choice for Paris, not himself. This is due to the fact that he puts himself above the club and Paris allows him to do so. A player should never be bigger than a club though, because if a player has that much power, it's easy to make money.

Ibrahimovic also said that it was precisely because of this that Mbappe's parents became lawyers, agents and coaches. They do a lot of things. This way the player loses himself and loses self-control. Now a new generation of players, including their parents and whoever can think of it, feel like they're stars and make their point in the media, and yet they're none of them. Ibrahimovic said shutting up was helpful for their children's performance and self-discipline.

Ibrahimovic also said that he is not very familiar with Mbappe, but Mbappe is a very good player. However, when you lose self-control, you can't recognize your place. Zidane is Zidane for a reason, and Mbappe needs to make progress and not settle for the status quo if he wants to imitate Zidane.

Irving also touched on the topic of Mbappe in an interview with reporters.

As for Mbappe's current worth, Owen said he did not know, but he felt that if he wanted to sign Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, it might cost between 150 and 200 million pounds.

Irving said that he and Mbappe have similarities. He used to have a high value, but he felt that if a team really signed him at this price, he would definitely feel at a loss. Because his career was up and down and got worse as he got older, he's thankful no one paid that much to sign him in the first place.
