'It doesn't matter' - Frank and Cooper deny they will manage Tottenham

On the eve of the 27th round of the 2022/23 Premier League season, Thomas Frank and Steve Cooper each ruled out the possibility of coaching Tottenham.

Tottenham's successive setbacks in the FA Cup and the Champions League last week have greatly shaken Antonio Conte's coaching position. Even Conte himself no longer hides his pessimism, "I will continue to work, my contract with Tottenham still has 3 months. I respect the contract. At the end of the season, we will evaluate in the most calm way."

"Maybe they will let me go before the end of the season," Conte added later.

There are multiple indications that Conte will leave Tottenham after his contract expires this summer. As for the new coach candidate, Levy prefers Pochettino, Tuchel, Thomas Frank or Steve Cooper to take over, but both Frank and Cooper rejected Tottenham's invitation.

"First of all, they have a manager. A manager who I have studied for many years and admired a lot," Brentford boss Thomas Frank said when asked if he would manage Tottenham. "I think he's had some great results and I hope he does better with Tottenham."

"Secondly, I'm very, very happy at Brentford."

Steve Cooper , another Tottenham coach selection target, said that he is currently more focused on Nottingham Forest: "It doesn't matter. For me, the only focus is the game, the people I work with every day. I try to do my best and try to make them like me and end up being a better team."

"We're taking on that challenge. We still have a lot of hurdles to overcome this season, and I've enjoyed going through this journey with the players. I've enjoyed the challenge, and anything other than that has nothing to do with me. Irrelevant."
