Losing Badly, West Brom Players Locked Up in the Changing Room

West Bromwich Albion defeated 0-5 from Manchester City.

REPUBLIKA.CO. ID, JAKARTA - West Bromwich Albion coach, Sam Allardyce, reportedly locked the player for almost an hour in the dressing room after losing 0-5 to Manchester City in Week 20 of the English Premier League at The Hawthorns, Wednesday (27/1) early morning WIB.

In a BBC Sport report, the former England coach just came out and made a statement to the media after nearly 60 minutes in the dressing room with the players. He immediately expressed his disappointment.

"Seeing our performance today was very disappointing. I did not expect to see a performance like that because it shows how bad we are," said Allardyce.

Allardyce said that the quality of his team was much different when playing away. When playing at his own base, he saw that the players suddenly lost their enthusiasm.

"When we travel we are very good and able to pick points. But here, in the last three games, everything is not enough," he said.

"I thought we would compete with hopes, but it didn't happen. I wish I knew the cause. Even though there was no pressure from the supporters."

West Brom is still stuck in 19th place in the English Premier League standings. From 20 matches, West Brom was only able to pick 11 points.

"I can be more angry than this. Only, I hold it. I can accept this defeat, but this is not the way," he said.
