Madrid vs Levante, Los Blancos want to tame tough opponents

Real Madrid host Levante at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium, Saturday (30/1), at 22:15.

MADRID - Assistant coach for Real Madrid, David Bettoni explained their preparation against Levante in the Spanish League 2020/2021 continuation. Bettoni said that Los Merengues were in a condition ready to fight when they hosted their opponents at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium, Saturday (30/1), at 22:15 WIB.

"We are training well in all aspects and the players are focused. We will try to put in a good performance and win the match," Bettoni told the media as quoted by the club's official website, Saturday (30/1).

Facing Levante Madrid can not be accompanied by the main coach Zinedine Zidan considering that he is still undergoing independent isolation due to being infected with Covid-19.

Zidane's role was temporarily replaced by Bettoni. He previously played his role as a substitute for Zidane by successfully bringing the 4-1 victory against Alaves.

Bettoni added, Zidane's current condition is much better. He hopes that the French tactician will return to the team changing room to handle Eden Hazard and his friends.

"Physically he is not with us. However, his game and his soul are in the team. We also keep in touch and discuss the match against Levante," he continued.

Victory is clearly a fixed price for Madrid. The reason is, they are very ambitious to cut the distance from Atletico Madrid on the standings.

However, Levante is not an easy opponent to beat. Of the last five matches, Levante has not been defeated. In addition, their coach Paco Lopez has recorded two wins against Los Blancos.
