OFFICIAL: AC Milan and Tonali extend contract until 2027

Serie A AC Milan announced today that it has signed a new contract with 22-year-old Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali until June 30, 2027.

Sandro Tonali's contract with AC Milan expires in June 2026. According to Italian transfer expert Di Marzio, Milan-related reporters Antonio Vitillo, Daniel Longo, and Luca Maninetti have learned from various sources that Milan's renewed contract is aimed at giving Tonali a salary increase. As a reward, the player's annual salary will rise sharply from 1.5 million euros after tax to 3 million euros.

At 4:00 noon local time on Friday, Tonali and his agent appeared at the Red and Black headquarters to complete the signing, and then shared the joy with fans on Milan's social media accounts. "Hi everyone, I'm very happy with this extension, the bond between me and Milan will be even longer," said the former Brescia midfielder.

"I feel good about the red and black on my body. Thank you all for supporting us and please continue to support me in the coming year as we can achieve great things together. Forza Milan!"

Tonali was born in the youth training of Brescia and was bought out by the club for 20 million euros after playing for the red and black for one year. From 2020 to 2022, he played 87 games for Milan in all competitions, scored 5 goals and provided 4 assists, which played an important role in the team winning the Serie A championship last season.
