Tottenham end losing streak with a 2-0 victory over West Brom as Harry Kane and Son scores


Tottenham Hotspur beated West Bromwich Albion with a 2-0 victory, ending a three-match losing streak in Premier League.


Harry Kane had missed the previous two defeats against Brighton and Chelsea but return from injury and made a start against West Brom.


Spurs attacked West Brom from the start, and Kane almost opened the scoring after 15 minute but his strike hit the bar.


Kane also shot go just past the post in the 18th minute, and Serge Aurier's header was blocked by West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone in the 42nd minute.


Just one minute before the break, West Brom were almost took the shock lead but Mbaye Diagne's close range header was saved by goalkeeper Hugo Llori. 


Spurs broke the deadlock finally after 54 minutes when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg  played a direct ball forward and Kane scored a goal into the far corner, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead over West Brom.


With this goal, Kane becomes the joint-second highest scorer alongside Bobby Smith in the club's history with 208 goals.


Son Heung-Min struck in the three minutes after Kane' goal to doubled Spurs' lead.


West Brom posed a threat late on and Diagne then had two goals ruled out for offside. Spurs beated West Brom 2-0 sucessfully, leading Spurs moving into eighth place while West Brom remain 19th in the table.
