Udinese renews contract with Success until 2025, with 1-year option

On Monday, Udinese announced the extension of the remaining 15 months of Isaac Success's contract until June 2025.

It has also been officially confirmed that Success's new contract comes with a one-year renewal option.

The 27-year-old Isaac Success is from Nigeria and can play multiple positions as a striker. When he was 18 years old, he was brought to Europe by Granada, and then moved to Watford and Malaga.

In August 2021, Success went to Serie A for 1.8 million euros and signed a three-year contract with Udinese. Over the past year, he has played 53 times for Udinese, scoring a total of 4 goals and sending 16 assists.

'We've been working on a renewal'

On the day when Success renewed his contract, Udinese director Marino accepted an exclusive interview with the official media. He said of the Nigerian to the other side: "We have been working on a contract extension for a long time. He is unique in protecting the ball and holding the ball with his back. He can withstand the impact of the opposing defender very well."

"His technical characteristics are very important for the team, and he is also a close friend of Beto (Udinese's main goalscorer this season) - they get along very well during this period. In addition, Isaac's hard work is also very important. Allowing the midfielders to get in and score."
