Victor Lindelof won't rule out leaving Manchester United this summer after starting less than expected

Victor Lindelof, 28, has not ruled out leaving Manchester United this summer after failing to make as many starts as expected.

Lindelof, who has made just 19 starts so far this season, is thought to be far below Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire in terms of tactical status at United. When the player attended the pre-match press conference on behalf of Sweden today, he also talked about this matter with regret: "Like all players, I hope to play every game, but I obviously haven't done it this season."

Lindelof's current contract will expire in June 2024, but he himself has expressed doubts about his future at Manchester United. He told reporters at the scene: "I want to play, I want to play, but I haven't considered a transfer. Now I only focus on the national team and then of course all the club competitions for the rest of the season."

"When summer comes, we will reassess and decide what is in our best interest."

Victor Lindelof mainly plays as a central defender, but can also play as a right back or midfielder. He was brought from Benfica to Manchester United by Mourinho at the age of 23, worth about 35 million euros. In the next 5 years, Lindelof played 217 times for Manchester United, with a total of 3 goals and 6 assists.
