Wolverhampton Wanderers close to completing the signing of Paris Saint-Germain winger Pablo Sarabia..

British authoritative online media The Athletic's resident famous Wolverhampton Wanderers correspondent Steve Madeley brought exclusive news reports that the club has agreed a deal in principle to sign Paris Saint-Germain's Spain international winger Pablo Sarabia.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed to pay Paris Saint-Germain a transfer fee of €4.5 million to sign Sarabia, Madeley reports.

Subsequently, Fabrizio Romano, renowned Italian transfer journalist of Sky Sports, also confirmed the matter and said that Sarabia had been authorized to fly to England for a medical and contract signing on Tuesday evening local time.

The 30-year-old Sarabia was born in Madrid, Spain on May 11, 1992. He is 1.74 meters tall and primarily plays as a winger, but he can also play as an attacking midfielder. Sarabia played for Real Madrid and Getafe in his early years, and he became famous after moving to Sevilla in 2016.

In July 2019, Sarabia joined Paris Saint-Germain for €18 million.

Although he won 2 Ligue 1, 2 Coupe de France, 1 Coupe de la Ligue and 3 Trophée des Champions with the club during this period, but because of the arrival of the likes of Mauro Icardi, Leo Messi, Hugo Ekitike and others, he has never been able to gain a firm foothold in the first-team.

Sarabia, who performed brilliantly during his loan spell at Sporting Clube de Portugal last season, won the Taça da Liga with the club.

After returning to the club from loan, Sarabia, who returned to Paris Saint-Germain this season, has played 19 times for Le Parisiens in all competitions, but has yet to score any goals or assists.

Wolverhampton Wanderers suffered from having a misfiring frontline this season, and it was not until the Spanish head coach Julen Lopetegui took over the head coaching role not long ago that the situation improved.

Currently, the Wolves are in 17th of the Premier League table, only 2 points above the relegation zone.
