Allardyce Warns Not to Sell Matheus Pereira
2021-05-18 13:07 WEST BROMWICH - West Brom manager Sam Allardyce warned other clubs that he would not sell his player, Matheus Pereira. Pereira has been linked with clubs such as Leeds, West Ham and Aston Villa.
Leeds has even targeted Pereira to be recruited in the upcoming transfer market. Pereira can be sold for up to 30 million pounds.
This Brazilian player has shone this season. He managed to score beautiful goals and his attacking performance was stunning.
"There will always be someone telling you what fruit to pick at West Brom. There are some fruits to pick but you will not pick them cheaply. There are many of them that are of high value," Allardyce said as quoted by the TBR website.
According to him, his players would not be 'harvested' and let them go on low scores. Allardyce has seen Pereira's talent so far.
"The appearance of Matheus Pereira does not surprise me. He continues to try his best to maintain this club," said Allardyce.
"The club will only let them go if they get a fair price for it," he said.
Pereira has scored 10 goals this season in all competitions. Allardyce admits Pereira has proven himself and could move this summer, of course, at a fair price.
