De Gea still wants to stay at Manchester United for a few more years


De Gea, the goalkeeper of the Premier League giants Manchester United, said in an interview with the sports media a few days ago that he hopes to stay at Manchester United for a few more years.


The 31-year- old De Gea joined Manchester United in 2011 , and when Mourinho was still in charge of Manchester United, he once said that when a goalkeeper won an award, it meant that the team did not perform too well sign. To this end, De Gea said in the interview, "Yes, I completely agree, winning awards is good for me, of course I like to win trophies, but I also completely agree with him. De Gea continued, "Whether it's a goal or not, just staying at this club is more meaningful than winning trophies, we naturally want to win, and we always want to win, but it can represent this club. Any trophy is more important. I just think about Manchester, it's my home, it's a great feeling to be here, it's an honour to play for this club, and it's me to be a part of this club One of the best things in life."


As for his future career, De Gea said, "I haven't communicated with anyone yet. As long as they are willing, I am happy to stay here. I still want to stay here for a few more years. They let me stay and I'm definitely going to play. Now I'm happy and hopefully we can win something before leaving."
