Football news: Bayern goalkeeper Neuer back to fitness, likely to feature against Hertha

Bayern Munich and Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer could be back for Saturday's game against Hertha Berlin after a shoulder injury has kept him out for a month.

Neuer, who is also Germany's first-choice goalkeeper, has been out since early October, with fears over his availability for the World Cup later this month.

Nagelsmann told a news conference: "Manuel will be back and if all goes well with the final training today, he will play.

But it all depends on the shoulders, but if all goes well, he will play.

Thomas Muller out of last four league games

One of Neuer's Bayern and Germany teammates, Thomas Müller , was ruled out of Saturday's last four league games due to a hip problem at the 33-year-old.

Bayern defender Lucas Hernandez and winger Kingsley Koeman are also set to return after a lengthy injury break, placing them one point behind leaders Union Berlin in the standings .
