Italian League Schedule: Bologna Vs Inter Milan Threatened To Be Postponed

Bologna are scheduled to host Inter Milan on Thursday (6/1/2022) at 18.30 WIB.

BOLOGNA -- Bologna director Paolo Bordon said if the match against Inter Milan in the 20th week of Serie A Italia 2021/2022 could be postponed. This is due to the massive spread of Covid-19 in several Italian cities.

The Rossoblu will host the leaders of the Serie A standings at the Renato Dall'ara Stadium, Thursday (6/1/2022) night WIB. However, the plan to hold the match is now doubted by some parties.

The local health authorities have warned that it will not be possible to give permission for the match between Bologna and Inter due to the increasing spread of Covid-19.

"I think both teams will not be able to compete, we asked to stop competitive sports for a while," said Paolo Bordon told La Repubblica quoted by Football Italia on Thursday.

Host Bologna certainly can not reduce the best power. That's because eight players and several staff members were exposed to Covid-19.

On the other hand Salernitana, Udinese and Torino have been ordered not to travel and placed under quarantine conditions due to the outbreak of the virus that hit their troops.

Another team, Hellas Verona, have multiple cases and have not been quarantined, having traveled to La Spezia.

Technically, the new government regulation is that players who have received a second or third vaccine in the last 120 days do not have to be quarantined if they have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

However, the rules state that they can only leave the house wearing an FFP2 level mask. This is a mask that has a thicker filter that workers usually use in dusty or aerosol-filled environments. These masks are usually made of pressed cellulose with a filter element and an exhalation valve.
